TRIPS With some of the best Orvis guides in the mountains we are pleased to offer year-round guided fly-fishing trips designed to accommodate all skill levels from very beginners to the most experienced anglers. Through the entire experience it is our goal to provide our clients with the best knowledge and skills and to ensure a great time on the water. Prior to leaving our fly shop, we make sure to provide you with the best fitting equipment and teach you about fly selection for your day on the water.
All trips include full equipment use (rod, reel, waders & boots), transportation and guide service. Lunch and beverages are provided of full-day trips, beverages are provided on half-day trips. Drive time is not included in fishing time. Trips do not include Colorado State License, flies or guide gratuity.
Two-Hour Trip - "¨Perfect for beginners to become familiar with fly fishing and to see what it's all about. A guide will take you to our favorite river right in town and provide a full casting lesson before getting you into the water to try out your skills. You will have a dedicated and patient guide helping you out for your best opportunity to catch some fish. Each Person: $85.00
Half-Day Trip (4 hours) - "¨A great half day will include guided fishing on the Blue, Colorado or South Platte River, Eagle or Arkansas rivers. One Person: $210.00 - Each additional person: $90.00
Full-Day Trip (8 hours) - "¨Allows guides more opportunity to fish numerous different rivers including the Colorado River, Blue River, South Platte, Arkansas, Williams Fork and Eagle Rivers. With up-to-date fishing reports your guide will know the best waters to fish matched with your angling needs. Full lunch and beverages included. One Person: $270.00 - Each additional person: $120
Private Ranches"¨The ultimate in exclusive fishing! When you reserve a private ranch your party will have the entire ranch to yourselves and your guide. We have two new and exceptional private ranches this year to offer in addition to our three other all-time favorites. Whether you're looking for large fast-moving rivers, intimate streams or trophy trout ponds and lakes, one of our private ranches will deliver the full experience. Float Trip (8 hours) - "¨The best way to fish moving water from a dory boat or raft through some of the most scenic parts of the Colorado River. An all-day adventure including full riverside lunch and beverages. Up to 2 people: $450
Lake Float Trip (8 hours) - "¨Chasing large Pike, Rainbows and Browns are the targeted species on the full-day lake float trips. The infamous Antero and Spinney Mountain Reservoirs are well known for their strong large trout. The Williams Fork Reservoir has some of the largest Pike in the state that love eating large streamers. We float in our top-of-the-line drift boats or rafts, which are limited to 2 anglers a boat. One person: $325 - Two people: $375
Overnight Float Trip (2 days, 1 night) - "¨A true rocky mountain adventure with 2 days of float and wade fishing and 1 night of camping. After a great day of float fishing your guide will set up camp riverside while you can enjoy some more wade fishing. A surf and turf dinner is prepared for you fireside with all the fixings. The next morning after a hot breakfast, another full day of float fishing awaits you. All camping equipment and meals (2 lunches, 1 dinner and 1 breakfast) are included; cabins are available for an additional cost.
