Park facilities connected by Silverthorne's trail system.

Many of Silverthorne’s parks are connected by the Blue River Trail, a riverside trail that begins at the Dillon Dam and extends 3.5 miles downstream through the Silverthorne valley. Highlights of the Silverthorne park system include Rainbow Park. Silverthorne’s largest park, Rainbow Park is located adjacent to the Silverthorne Recreation Center at 430 Rainbow Drive. The park offers a large maintained grass field for sports and drop in play, a concrete skate park, a basketball court, two sand volley ball courts and two tennis courts. The park also has a large children’s playground area, three picnic pavilions, BBQ grills, and restrooms. A paved walking path circles the entire park and also connects to the Blue River Trail.
